"Hatidza Mulic is a painter who is currently living and working in Athens, Georgia. Hatidza Mulic was born in 1976 in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Her B. F. A. in Painting was received from Indiana University. Subsequent to that she obtained teaching experience at the La Meridiana workshop in Certaldo, Italy followed by the painting instructor position through community school in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In combination with numerous scholarships she was also a recipient of the Outstanding Student Award 2007 at Indiana University. In 2008, she had her first solo exhibition in Dubrovnik, Croatia. She is currently a M. F. A. candidate in drawing and painting at the University of Georgia. In the summer of 2010 she had an opportunity to visit Ghana, Africa through the Study Abroad Program with the School of Social Work. While in Ghana she painted a mural for a Kumasi children's orphange. Hatidza also received the outstanding student award from the School of Social Work during her trip to Ghana and is the recipient of the Jo Ann Terry Walker Scholarship for the 2010-2011 academic year." - Bill Bray contact info: hatidzamulic@gmail.com |

Watkinsville, Georgia - A new art gallery opens in Watkinsville in hopes of bringing art into the community’s daily conversations around the dinner table. Housed on the second floor of Chops & Hops, ArtLand Gallery will host international as well as local artists. University of Georgia art instructor and international painter, Hatidza Mulic, will open for the first art exhibition at the new ArtLand Gallery on November 29 from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Mulic’s art has graced the walls of galleries in Croatia, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, and currently Sweden. ArtLand Gallery is honored to host Hatidza Mulic with her open heart, her statuesque beauty, and her intelligent and contemporary works of art.
